Late summer in Wellington

Some photos of our downtown Wellington walk and Nolan on the slide in Cuba street and pictures of our visitor from Holland. Its late summer now in Wellington and the weather has been allright except for some random storm we had a couple of days ago , its hurricane season now so the weather is quite unpredictable. We have been very busy with the kids so taking pictures and uploading them is not always possible, anyway we hope you like these snapshots of the kids! Leave a comment if you want!

Little Alma trying on mums hair !

Nolan opening his birthday presents from Holland!

Watching some tv with mum.

Nolan having some lunch.

Going into town.

The tower is the war memorial and the pointy roofs is the grandstand of the Basin Reserve cricket grounds. Home of NZ Cricket (chuckle).

Completely random, thats Wellington for ya! I have no idea ...

Just a nice walk in town. Except Nolan didnt want to walk anymore ...

Yaay ! The slide rules ! He loves it!

Practicing his silly walks in the park.

Modern and Art Deco mixture, very Wellington.

Our friend Arjen from Terschelling, Holland visiting us again after his amazing travels down the South Island, great to hear he has had an awesome time and has really come to love New Zealand. Good on him !

Nolan and Alma BOTH love cars, this might become a problem in the future :)

Nolan really enjoyed his time with uncle Arjen !

The man is packed like a mule ! Even the little bags weigh a ton !
By the way... Is Katie that small or Arjen that tall? hehehe

  1. The big man who has a rasta cap on it looks like the little man who has a rasta cap on it! That picture is real funny...In German we said; wie der Vater so der Sohn...
