Nieuw Geluk! Our new daughter Alma Winiata van Proosdij, welcome to this world ! 01-10-2009 / 5.25 am

Here she is ! Our lovely new addition the family , little Alma Winiata. Mum and daughter are both doing very well , Katie was out of hospital a couple of hours after giving birth and she did really really well, I am very proud of her and little Alma. Shes in the cot now sound asleep and looking so sweet! Katies mother and our midwife Ngarangi were absolutely fantastic. Katies first cousins Jamie and Kiri witnessed the birth and were also great support to us. We've only just had a short sleep this afternoon and ive only had time to upload these few pictures but ofcourse , there will be stacks more..! Springtime !

YES ! It is officialy SPRING !
We've made it through winter and things are bright and sunny once again,
what a lovely time of year !

The end result of my months of growing Kale (borecole or boerekool), a good 1.8 Kg, well happy with that !
