Grandma offered to take baby for the weekend so we decided to take our new station wagon for a spin ! We headed to the
Wairarapa region , just over the Rimutaka hill , about an hour and a bit from where we live in Wellington. On the way we stopped to visit friends that were relaxing at
Kaitoke Park (where they shot part od lord of the rings!) , it was
Waitangi day , a national day of celebration in NZ AND birthday of Bob marley. It also happenend to be the hottest weekend so far this year! We visited the
martinborough fair and drove arfound the beautiful countryside , in one day i swam in the ocean , a lake and a river ! I love New Zealand !
